Prospective Patient

For quality inpatient or outpatient physical rehabilitation, Texas residents turn to Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital, the only freestanding rehabilitation center in the Southern part of Dallas, for comprehensive rehabilitation services. At Methodist Rehabilitation, highly trained, licensed, and certified professionals provide nurturing support and physical rehabilitation for a variety of disciplines, including stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehab, orthopedic physical therapy, and amputation treatment.

Depending on a patient's needs, he or she may receive treatment and care from several different disciplines, including doctors specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, clinical dieticians, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation nurses. Each patient also has a personal caseworker assigned to him or her that coordinates the patient’s rehabilitative program from admission to discharge.

Successful physical rehabilitation is a direct result of our ability to help patients reach and exceed their goals for therapy. To achieve this, teams of professionals are assigned to evaluate the patient's abilities and adjust therapy plans and goals as the patient progresses. Our rehabilitation hospital offers a full array of comprehensive services and programs for orthopedic physical therapy, spinal cord injuries, brain injury rehab, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, lower back problems, amputation treatment, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, and other medical conditions requiring physical rehabilitation.
