Community Health Needs Assessment

The Affordable Care Act requires tax-exempt hospital systems, like Methodist Health System, to gather data on health statistics in the community. These Community Health Needs Assessments tell us what diseases, injuries, and other ailments are most prevalent in the community, which allows us to better allocate resources towards programs and technology that will most benefit our patients. The results of these assessments and the resulting implementation plans are available to the public.
