Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
Our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program incorporates physical reconditioning, self-care education, and breathing techniques that improve the patient’s ability to carry out the activities of daily living. All patients receive a thorough evaluation and individualized treatment plan.
Program Phases
The cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program is divided into two levels:
- Acute rehabilitation is an inpatient program of intense physical and psychosocial therapy. Our comprehensive evaluation of patients allows us to customize treatment plans that focus on reentering the community. Average length of stay is 14 days.
- Outpatient rehabilitation is an individualized, highly specific treatment program designed to continue the patient’s progress toward maximum independence from the home setting.
